What 69 Views Taught Me About Starting Small

When I published my first blog post, I didn’t expect a stampede of readers—I just hoped someone, anyone, would find something in it worth their time.

So when I saw that little number tick up to 69 views, something clicked: growth isn’t always explosive. Sometimes, it’s a quiet nod from the universe saying “keep going.”

Here’s what those first 69 views taught me:

• Every view is a person—a real one, curious enough to click.
• Imperfect action beats perfect hesitation. I could’ve waited forever for the “perfect” post. Hitting publish taught me more than overthinking ever did.
• Consistency matters. Even one new post a week builds momentum.
• People are watching—even when they’re silent. Not everyone will comment or share. But that doesn’t mean they’re not listening.
